New business in Westfield N.Y.

Friday February 24th saw an official opening and ribbon cutting ceremony at AG combat sports. Which is located at 71 E. Main St. on the second floor of the R.O.R building. AG combat sports is a Martial Arts and fitness studio that offers classes in Freestyle karate, Mixed Martial Arts, Kickboxing and Boxing for all ages. This is now the third studio in the AG combat sports family with the main one on Foote Ave in Jamestown, one in Randolph N.Y. and this one here in Westfield. Classes are offered during the evenings Monday – Friday and Saturday morning.

It’s always great to announce a new business in Westfield. Lets make them welcome to the town. It’s great when someone from outside the immediate area commits resources by opening a new business that continue to make Westfield N.Y. an amazing place.

For more information go to their website at:

www.agcombatsports.com or contact them at 716-487-2392

The youtube video below show both stills and video footage shot during the ribbon cutting ceremony.

Some pictures of the Westfield boys varsity team playing against the boys team from Franklinville. The Westfield boys made the first basket and didn’t let the lead slip throughout the entire game and even ended the game with quite a lead as you can see in the image of the scoreboard at the end of the game.

17th annual choir festival in Westfield N.Y.

On the 28th of January Westfield High school was the site of the 17th annual Westfield Choir Festival. Featuring choirs and musical groups from Chautauqua Lake Central School, Maple Grove High School, Sherman Central School, Silver Creek High School, Southwestern High School and finally of course Westfield High School. You missed a great concert performed by some very talented kids and their music/choir teachers. We are lucky to have such a great musical program in the area when so many cut back in programs are happening everywhere, let support the kids and the program.

Since this website is devoted to Westfield are video will show the Westfield choirs showing their stuff. enjoy.

Pass the link onto family and friends outside the area so that they can see the kids performing. More video to come in the near future.
